As an educator and passionate JONAPWD advocate for inclusive education, it is no news that I am dedicated to raising awareness on the learning experiences of students with disabilities. Recently, I had the privilege of leading a team of 14 youth advocates in a series of initiatives that demonstrated my commitment to this cause.
Empowering Students with Disabilities in Lagos
We started an inclusive education advocacy outreach at Modupe Cole Memorial School in Yaba, Lagos, a school impacting over 400 students with disabilities. We had a tour of the school and a meeting with the Vice Principal.
This experience deepened my understanding of the challenges faced by these students and reinforced my determination to drive positive change.
Strategic Planning for Inclusive Education
We developed a comprehensive project plan for inclusive education outreach in Lagos state, outlining effective strategies for youth-led advocates to implement. This plan serves as a roadmap for sustainable impact in the region.
Mobilizing Youth Advocates
Through motivation and guidance, I am inspiring my team to successfully execute the project plans, thereby ensuring a lasting impact on the lives of students with disabilities.

These experiences have strengthened my resolve to advance inclusive education across Africa, which includes:
